I am a designer in Real, and enjoy building here, despite this quirky scaleless format. I do not sell my textures or talents in RLC, and frankly some here who do sell, shouldn't..... Our avatars set the Scale here, and what we build should fit them. This, in my opinion, helps make the Fantasy. With textures, the power of 2 does apply, but stated more simply, Computers Like Squares :) I do try to help people understand the Script and State tabs, as they are where the magic happens. You can take a good texture and stretched it to the size of a dance floor, or stretch it you fit your build, but it looks like shit. ~laughing~ and when it doubt, make it purple. For me this platform and server space to build are worth the membership fees and rents. I have linked the rays I spend to how many cans of cat food it will buy. My kitties would starve on what I spend here … Those who complain of the cost and have trouble maintaining VIP should probably be concentrating on their real.
