About me:
First question when two guys meet for the first time, usually because the wives are close friends: "So...what do you do?" (Save that stuff. I am not my job or occupation.)
Married over 22 years to Cherrie_Bomb, who is a sweetheart and the best thing that has ever happened to me. We have 2 young adult children, a couple of cats and three dogs. I've worked at the same company for over 20 years as well.
It isn't easy to keep things in order. Getting out of bed to work another 12 hour day isn't what I'd LIKE or WANT to do, it's what I NEED to do as a responsible husband, parent and adult. Besides, if I'm blessed to be able to open my eyes every morning just for the opportunity to do so, I can't say that's really a bad thing...I could wake up dead. ;)
Who I'd like to meet:
I'm rarely star-struck; most famous people are just folks like me with too much money to play with. I'll just say people who really know me will know who I want to meet.

Interests:
I enjoy being outside in the summer, especially if a swimming pool is involved. (The less clothing the more fun. ;) ) I do some yardwork, I like planting flowers and seeing the results.
I don't really mind winter; shoveling is therapeutic.
Housework isn't really a chore.
I'm interested in Old-Time Radio/Nostalgia.
I'm a part of that first generation of video gamers. Game that require strategy and thought instead of button mashing are more fun.
Don't take me to a place with a bookstore, video game selection, movies, vinyl albums and/or vintage items unless you want to spend at least 90 minutes there. (And I probably won't spend a dime. Cherrie has to bend my arm so I can reach my wallet.)

Pick a genre, I can probably find something to enjoy about it. I'm not going to paint a certain era or music type with the same brush, mainly because I haven't been properly exposed to it. (ALL MUSIC TODAY SUXXX!111!111!)
Judging by my SiriusXM selections, I like 50s, 60s, 70s, 80s & 90s, New Wave, Modern Rock/ Alternative. Some in the new millennium. There are some good songs, sure.

I enjoy a good comedy, I like to laugh. Also into documentaries and stuff about history.
I watch more YouTube clips than anything. Don't watch much TV.
Books:
I have a focused interest on historical sports items; baseball, football, etc. Perverse interest in failed leagues and teams a plus. I enjoy reading the side of "we thought this could work/why did this fail", then seeing others in the future do things the same way and expect a different result. (All the stories pretty much have the same script, but it's the people involved that make it intriguing.) =D
Also, a wrestling nut, learning as much as I can about the earlier days.
