Interests:
I'm an avid photographer and now prefer digital over film. I'm currently shooting with a Canon 20D. I'm also very into nature, wildlife, birding, gardening etc. Computing is also a big hobby. I bought a new Dell machine in 1998 that turned out to be a lemon. After 77 calls to Dell tech support I got a new machine out of the deal but in the meantime I learned computer hardware. Built my first computer in 1999 and have never bought one off the shelf since then. I prefer to build my own using only quality parts. I don't build junk.

Movies:
I'll watch most anything, classics, intrigue, drama, comedy, shoot em up, etc. I love classic films by any director from VonStroheim to Hitchcock to Kubrick.
Books:
Mostly self improvment and motivational of course all the classics from the ancient greeks to today. No one can read everything but I'm semi well read. I tend to read lots of professional journals and peer reviewed research pertinent to my profession.
