I am an open-minded guy who comes into RLC to try and fill a void in my offline life. RLC is not a game to me as games imply that there is an opponent and that means someone has to lose. I'd like everyone to come out on top.
I know I can't make everyone like me and I would rather be hated for being who I am than loved for being who I am not. Actually, although I know I'm not perfect, I would rather be loved for being who I am as I know deep inside I am one of the good guys.
Because I have had a few knocks in this world, I can be somewhat shy. Please don't be afraid to make some of the moves as I would appreciate that.
I always try and treat people kindly and in a caring manner, considering their feelings and needs as well as my own. I would rather tactfully tell the truth and be told the truth about how things are, no matter how hard it may be. Telling untruths or being silent when we should be telling the truth just makes it worse for everyone.

I was also brought up to be honest, although I may be too trusting. So far, I have countless experiences that I do not wish to ever forget or regret and have met many precious people, several of whom have become very special friends.
If I say that I love you, it is because I mean it and I will show you I mean it. I will do everything in my power to love you for who you are, not for who I want you to be. However, only say you love me back if you mean it, though, not if you think it sounds good or is just what I want to hear.
If you feel I am going too quickly, tell me straight. I'll respect you for your honesty. I value my friends and would rather not lose you if you feel you cannot tell me to slow down or stop.
I am uncomfortable if I am told one thing one day by someone and shown the opposite the next, especially if it is related to matters of the heart. This can get me frustrated and upset and I will point out what I feel is unfair. I do not mean to do so in a rude or aggressive or upset anyone else.
I don't want drama. I just want to have a happy life :)

I would like to meet fun-loving people who are not averse to being friends or more as time goes by.
Nevertheless, I would like to find someone to put first in my life when our online inworld times coincide who would also do the same for me. I would like that person to be tolerant, thoughtful, honest, communicative, open and patient and I will do my best to be the same to them.
I would that person to be communicative of their needs and wants or anything that is troubling them, is also open to listen and take onboard what I may also have to say, and as proud of being seen with me as I am with her.
Perhaps I am too picky or unreasonable as so far, after 9 months, I am yet to find that person.
We're all here to have fun but nobody wants to get hurt, made to feel unwanted and that they are in the way.

I keep an open mind on the works of Dan "Da Vinci Code" Brown but don't take it as gospel either. I've read Fleming, Le Carre and Deighton for thrillers and Anais Nin & Emanuelle Arsan as primers in erotica.
