Bladerunner-The struggle for survival & understanding. I love how Ridley Scott depicts the evolution of LA street slang into a combo of English/Spanish/German/Chinese- This is happening already in the US- very cool to observe & contribute too! We are melting into each other at least with our language!! Our thoughts are shaped by our words- hopefully this will promote more tolerance & embracing of diversity..
The Dark Crystal- amazing story- beware of technology sucking out your vital essence! The dichotomy of good & evil in all of us is beautifully illustrated. To grow up and be Magra- OY!!!!!..
Henry & June- so sensual, sexy, wonderful depiction of Henry& Anais- so much is taken from her diaries. The contrasts of the subtlies of Paris slapped up against Brooklyn- wow! Great cinematography.. Uma Thurman's performance was quite stirring.. Uma.. And THEN THERE'S UMA..
The Lover- Jane March & Tony Leunge! OMG! Sexy,sweet, heartbreaking!
