Well, as soon as I get some pics posted you can see what I look like so I'll just put that I'm 5'8" with straight long blonde hair and green eyes. I am very curvy and okay with that.
I work in the medical field which can be very stressful, so I use time online with friends to get away from that.
I am married and have kids and no, my husband doesn't care that I'm on here. He's also into computer games, just different ones.
I am here because I am curious about what this place has to offer and love to meet new people and make friends. I grew up very shy and now that I'm a little older and much more friendly I like to talk to anyone about anything (or almost). I think I am very open minded and willing to see both sides when it comes to debate. I consider myself intelligent and at least fairly funny. I love to laugh, even at myself sometimes.

Interests:
I have a fairly interesting hobby. Some might think it a bit strange or geeky and they might be right. I am a member of the Society for Creative Anachronism. I love to dress up in clothing that would have been more common in the Tudor era in England and hang out with my friends for fighting, feasting, bardics (singing and playing music) and general revelry. Look it up if you think that sounds interesting. There are groups in every state in the US and also the UK, England, Austrailia and others. It is a lot of fun and though it is escapism, it's a lot more real than sitting in front of a computer playing World of Warcraft ;o)
I also love to draw and paint, read, listen to and play music and go camping and hiking during the summer.

Music:
I love most music. Special interests include early music (think medieval and renaissance) because I play in an early music group. I also love Celtic/folk, "modern", rock - both hard and classic, pop, a little country (no twang) and some classical music.
Some of my favorite groups include: The Corrs, Loreena McKennitt, Silly Wizard, New World Renaissance Band, Depeche Mode, Erasure, Maroon5, Nickelback, One Republic, Keane, Blackmoor's Night and more I will think of in a while.

I love too many books to list even my favorites separately but I am currently reading "His Dark Materials" which is the trilogy the movie "The Golden Compass" comes from.
