Bloc Party, Fratellis, Klaxons, Kooks, Killers, Vampire Weekend, MGMT, The Wombats, Prodigy, Hadouken and so on!
Movies:
Big epic films are great, especially Gladiator and the LOTR series. I also like stupid comedys, like anchorman and old school.
I know this is for movies, but I watch a LOT of TV shows. Lost, Heroes, House, Scrubs, Weeds, Prison Break, American Office - all great :)
