I'll sound like a nerd but j'adore classical, opera, and big band style music. To throw out some names...Beethoven, Schoenberg (Verklarte Nacht, not his atonal stuff), some Schubert, some Chopin, Tchaikovsky, Gershwin (George), some Brahms, Gounoud (Faust), Puccini, Wagner (Tannhauser), Glenn Miller...
I also like some pop, rock, and soundtrack stuff (you know like My Fair Lady, Showboat, etc.)
