About me:
I'm a happy healthy guy next door type.....I am completely honest - I've been told that I'm sometimes too honest. I won't lie to anyone and I expect not to be lied to by everyone in my life. I know when I make mistakes and, unlike a lot of people, I take responsibility for them. I learn from them then move on as I believe, as Fellini once said, "regrets are the past crippling you in the present." I care for and respect the world around me and look for that in someone I'm dating. I keep up with the political world because it interests me. I have a great family and friends to which I am very loyal. I'm getting back in to excercising. I'm a romantic as well, so I enjoy kissing, cuddling, holding hands, flowers, and romantic dinners etc. I enjoy PDA (public displays of affection) as long as it's not obscene. I BELIEVE ACTIONS SPEAK LOUDER THAN WORDS....And, thanks to an ex who shall remain nameless, one should know that I can be very very choosy, and at times, but not all the time, suspicious, irrational, short tempered, jealous and slow to forgive. Who I'd like to meet:
ONE DAY I'd like to be with a man that is happy with his life, and has his own things going on. Sharing our lives is not giving one up for the other. Honesty and integrity and open communication are most important, and that includes being true to yourself. I'm looking for someone that is monogamous. I don't go for the "in a committed relationship but play together" or the "open relationships". I will not abide cheating. If he can get you, he can have you. I'm looking for someone that will inspire me, and make me smile. I'm not as concerned with someone being a gym bunny, as I am that they lead a healthy lifestyle and be confident and secure in themselves. I like all different types of guys so I wouldn't say that I have a specific type. Tho, lately I find that I'm drawn to stocky/muscular guys that are somewhat hairy but not too hairy with some facial hair, These guys tend to have dark hair as opposed to my blonde hair...again these are not requirements.
