I love horror movies, especially Japanese Imports like Ju-On, Ringu, and Phone (the American versions have better effects but are typically "dumbed down").
Other movies I've enjoyed watching or re-watching recently include [REC], Vacancy, Cloverfield, Crash, X2, Match Point, Brokeback Mountain, Identity, Wicker Park, A History of Violence, Kill Bill: Part 1 (Part 2 just wasn't as good), 300, Another Gay Movie, Reservoir Dogs, American History X, Sliding Doors, Million Dollar Baby, Saw, Battle Royale, Blair Witch Project, Summer Storm, Eating Out, Bad Education, The King, & Y Tu Mama Tambien (big Gael Garcia Bernal fan here).
Books:
My favorite authors are John Steinbeck, Michael Dorris, and Zora Neal Hurston. My favorite books include To Kill A Mocking Bird, Catch 22, Their Eyes Were Watching God, and Of Mice and Men.
I read a lot of magazines and look forward to my Entertainment Weekly fix each week. I'm also a big comic book collector and enjoy Astonishing X-Men, Final Crisis, Astro City, Runaways, The Boys, Captain America, & Justice Society.
