Music:
I don't think there are many types of music I don't like, at least in small doses. Classical, jazz, reggae, rock, hip hop, even gospel. My favorite group is Pink Martini, my favorite performer is Dianne Reeves. Maybe Cassandra Wilson, she's up there at the top.
Movies:
The Bourne Trilogy, Princess Bride, Across the Universe. I love suspense and action films, not really horror films.
If you like the Beatles, you HAVE to watch Across the Universe. I'm not just saying that because I know the female lead. It's a great movie.
