jackssonpaullick's Scoop
About me:
Trait Snapshot: expressive, open, self revealing, loud, social, outgoing, does not like social isolation, assertive, social chameleon, positive, always busy, likes to fit in, likes to stand out, enjoys leadership, brutally honest, trusting, optimistic, desires attention, can be aggressive, can be attachment prone, wants to be understood, and realistic. I love to talk, but I try to make my written words short and impactful for the best interpretive control.. I also love everything equally and the energies of the single entity intelligent universe (ask me about my theory on that), and will never cease doing so.. That is my only law now, the pursuit of increasing knowledge and understanding of others.. which I hold above ALL else.

FREE TIBET NOW!!!

Who I'd like to meet:
I'm just a devoted human/person/lover who has had his mind/body/soul trampled on by the world... (..my heart was paper thin glass, enshrouded in pure silk, locked within a gilded cage... first, I unlocked the cage and let strangers inside.. then, I let someone steal my shroud of silk.. Then, I made the biggest mistake of all... I gave someone my heart to hold onto and they treated it poorly, threw it upon the ground, and smashed it into pieces...). So I myself will just develop a stronger resolve, being the compulsive/obsessive idiot I am. Who knows, maybe it'll be attractive and strong, and a positive move forward in my life [if not THE most positive...]

CAN YOU BELIEVE THIS SHIT!?!

Soo human it made me cry my eyes out... you can't ban FREE HUGS!!!

[first lines] Evey Hammond: [Voiceover] Remember, remember, the Fifth of November, the Gunpowder Treason and Plot. I know of no reason why the Gunpowder Treason should ever be forgot... But what of the man? I know his name was Guy Fawkes and I know, in 1605, he attempted to blow up the Houses of Parliament. But who was he really? What was he like? We are told to remember the idea, not the man, because a man can fail. He can be caught, he can be killed and forgotten, but 400 years later, an idea can still change the world. I've witnessed first hand the power of ideas, I've seen people kill in the name of them, and die defending them... but you cannot kiss an idea, cannot touch it, or hold it... ideas do not bleed, they do not feel pain, they do not love... And it is not an idea that I miss, it is a man... A man that made me remember the Fifth of November. A man that I will never forget.

V: Good evening, London. Allow me first to apologize for this interruption. I do, like many of you, appreciate the comforts of every day routine- the security of the familiar, the tranquility of repetition. I enjoy them as much as any bloke. But in the spirit of commemoration, thereby those important events of the past usually associated with someone's death or the end of some awful bloody struggle, a celebration of a nice holiday, I thought we could mark this November the 5th, a day that is sadly no longer remembered, by taking some time out of our daily lives to sit down and have a little chat. There are of course those who do not want us to speak. I suspect even now, orders are being shouted into telephones, and men with guns will soon be on their way. Why? Because while the truncheon may be used in lieu of conversation, words will always retain their power. Words offer the means to meaning, and for those who will listen, the enunciation of truth. And the truth is, there is something terribly wrong with this country, isn't there? Cruelty and injustice, intolerance and oppression. And where once you had the freedom to object, to think and speak as you saw fit, you now have censors and systems of surveillance coercing your conformity and soliciting your submission. How did this happen? Who's to blame? Well certainly there are those more responsible than others, and they will be held accountable, but again truth be told, if you're looking for the guilty, you need only look into a mirror. I know why you did it. I know you were afraid. Who wouldn't be? War, terror, disease. There were a myriad of problems which conspired to corrupt your reason and rob you of your common sense. Fear got the best of you, and in your panic you turned to the now high chancellor, Adam Sutler. He promised you order, he promised you peace, and all he demanded in return was your silent, obedient consent. Last night I sought to end that silence. Last night I destroyed the Old Bailey, to remind this country of what it has forgotten. More than four hundred years ago a great citizen wished to embed the fifth of November forever in our memory. His hope was to remind the world that fairness, justice, and freedom are more than words, they are perspectives. So if you've seen nothing, if the crimes of this government remain unknown to you then I would suggest you allow the fifth of November to pass unmarked. But if you see what I see, if you feel as I feel, and if you would seek as I seek, then I ask you to stand beside me one year from tonight, outside the gates of Parliament, and together we shall give them a fifth of November that shall never, ever be forgot.
Evey Hammond: [reads] Vi Veri Veniversum Vivus Vici.
V: [translates] By the power of truth, I, while living, have conquered the universe.
Evey Hammond: Personal motto?
V: From "Faust".
Evey Hammond: That's about trying to cheat the devil, isn't it?
V: It is.
Closing Credits Music Voiceover - Male: Concerning non-violence: It is criminal to teach man not to defend himself when he is the constant victim of brutal attacks.
Closing Credits Music Voiceover - Female: Sex and Race, because they are easy, visible differences, have been the primary ways of organising human beings into superior and inferior groups and into the cheap labour on which this system still depends. We are talking about a society in which there will be no roles other than those chosen, or those earned. We are really talking about Humanism.

V: It is to Madame Justice that I dedicate this concerto. Tell me Evey, do you know what day it is?
Evey Hammond: Um, November the 4th.
V: [midnight church bells ring] Not anymore. Remember, remember the 5th of November. The gunpowder, treason, and plot. I know of no reason why the gunpowder treason should ever be forgot.
Now that you've read this, do you know WHY Guy Fawkes tried to blow up parliament? He knew about the world bank and people who were even then plotting to control and contain us, the general populace. Through political machinations that befuddle and confound the average citizen. To conceal the faces and facts of those who desire power over others. He wanted to remove that mask, leave decisions up to the people long enough for the seeds of rebellion to grow roots around our hearts. So we, as beings of free will, wouldn't sacrifice that will for security or ease. So we would remember true freedom. So we could never forget what true freedom is... Have you?

Interests:
I am currently lacking in alot of areas.. So self-improvement is foremost of course. Although on my off time, a good game (regardless of type, i.e. board, video, book, ect.) always gets my gears turning. Sometimes it's nice to just see nature for what she is.. That old sayin' "Always remember to stop and smell the roses" has always meant a great deal to me, there's alot of impatience in the world nowadays... But that's the speed of humanity, and must be appreciated as such. I just keep hoping for a good future for all mankind really, and try and do my best. Ok that's enuff of my interests.. What about yours..?

Music:
3vRee7H1n9~~~ I have a very ecclectic taste when it comes to music.. for the most part my favorite music genres are the grandfathers, opera, classical, balet, ect. but as for the now I love everything Bowie, Manson, Zombie, Lennon, Propaghandi, Wheatus, Weezer, Ozomatli, ect. Mostly all the music of the oldies(which I consider to be the pre-1800's-1980's), Nirvana and grunge were a big part of my early teenage years (till I realized apathy wasn't the way and came out of my shell), but that's about as cliche as it gets I guess... I also developed a great appreciation for rap/hip-hop rythms (snoop, 50cent, ect.) and their roots in blues {blues bros. WOO!} I now really enjoy electronic remixes of old/new stuff with beat-tracks and turntable tricks (even classical masterpieces, I've had remixes and beats in my head for years and never had a genre or way to express/explain it till electronica/synth, lol) that's a pretty wide variety ne pas?
Movies:
K\n M3 5\y K!1cH3~~~ I like a few of the newer movies for a change.. Juno and Bee movie for instance are very different, but meaningful in their own ways... I see movies and I'm a really extreme critic, If the plot has any holes.. if there's just one or two big glitches.. or effects recycling... or well you get the picture. But a few of my favorites are RHPS, LOTR, Defending your life, Ghost dog, One flew over the cuckoos nest, the king and I, just to name a few.. I'm always up to see new movies, or old ones that I haven't seen yet...
Books:
b0 \M3r1c\Nz R3\b?~~~ as far as books i've read... tao te ching, hua hu ching, and the I ching, the satanic bible, the dead sea scrolls, several books (translations/transcripts/historical texts, YAY JSTOR!!!) regarding different renaissances dating back to dark ages and pre-historic occults.. Just about any books on traditions, shamanism, and traditional medicines, some I.T. textbooks, html design texts.. several other books related to the metaphysical, the parascientific, or the paradoxical... I love philosophy most of all however so I've read most of nietzsche, aristotle, what is there of platos writings of socrates and his desciples, as well as several philosophers from the eastern end of the world.
