Interests:
I dabble. If you name it I've dabbled in it at some point, because I like to know how to do things. I'll learn it and do it for a while, then move on to something else I don't know about. So I've put up paneling, wired lights, made cheese, grown exotic fruits, raised pheasants, made cough drops and paper, done automotive repair and bodywork, pin-striped cars, airbrushed motorcycle gas tanks, (I learned through Kal Koncepts), published a bit in hardback, grown and processed medicinal herbs, done portrait paintings, etc and etc. I get bored unless Im learning and doing something new. Once I've 'done' something, though, I tend to leave it behind and move on to something else.
Some things have stayed with me. Primarily I read for recreation, and I like gardening and travel, cooking and designing my own clothing. I've always had the ability to dine at a nice restaurant, taste it to know what's in it, then go home and recreate the meal for friends or family. Other things I continue to do are charcoal sketching and various crafts.
So I'm here for something new. Just don't expect me to stay very long. :)

Everything except screeching grating raw stuff and rap. Soundtracks tickle me, as they tend to put all the best stuff on them. Recently I'm listening to Chantal Chamberland (Canadian torch singer) and old folk music from Ireland, Scotland and Appalachia. Yes, I enjoy popular, dance, techno, too, I said 'everything'. Favorite popular artist is Peter Gabriel. Favorite opera is Turandot. Favorite classical is Prokofiev. etc.

Books:
Double yes. I had at one time, 5000 books, most of which I'd read. I lost them, but am back up to about 1000 at this time. Books are one thing I can not get rid of. They are sacred.
