About me:
Opinionated, intelligent, honest, harworking, passionate, stubborn, blunt, impatient & spontaneous.
Opinionated - I believe what I believe, if you disagree that's cool means we can have some fun arguments! Be prepared to be able to back up your claims though. Without fact I'm not interested and will not consider your point of view.
Intelligent - I'm well read and can string a sentence of words containing more than one syllable each together quite easily. I like to talk about more than cars, clothes and celebrity gossip. If you can't stimulate my mind as well as the rest of me then don't bother.
Honest - I call it as I see it. Don't like it? Then don't waste my time.
Hardworking - I might be a "Y Gen" but I work damn hard and have developed a strong positive reputation in the business world in my home town. I'm good and what I do and damn proud of what I have achieved.
Passionate - When I love, I love hard. Pretty simple really. I don't believe in giving only part of myself. If I trust you enough to let you in, then you're in. I'm loyal to a fault, but break my trust and I'll be just as 'passionate' about kicking you to the curb and possibly jumping on you as I was about keeping you around before you hurt me.
Stubborn - See Opinionated. If I believe in something I will defend it till the end. However, prove me wrong (with facts not just fancy words) and I will back down. I can apologise where I have F**ked up, but try to avoid F**king up in the first place.
Blunt - See Honest. I'm honest with people and I don't pull my punches. Sometimes people need to be asked the hard questions and hear the things they don't want to hear to be able to move forward. I'll add though, that I'm not about being offensive, but I won't not speak just for the sake of pandering to someone's need to pretend shit isn't happening.
Impatient - I'm not good at sitting around waiting. I have goals and I want them now. So I work hard at achieving them. Sitting around doing waiting for my dreams to come true is like waiting for a win on the lotto.... not going to happen any time soon.
Spontaneous - I LOVE being able to just up and go. I call my mates and give them 5 minutes to get ready before I get there to take them to dinner or a movie. I once drove 1600km to visit my best friend on the spur of the moment just because I could. It's getting harder to be that spontaneous as I get older and life changes, but I enjoy the small things. A trip to a local waterfall or going to the movies without plans. Life needs to be shaken up every now and then to keep you on your toes. I like shaking up my life, and I'm the one who shakes up others :)

Who I'd like to meet:
People. But decent people only please. I'm not going to tolerate racism or bigotry in any form. Approach me with any of that shit and you'll quickly learn what I think of people like that.
The criteria for this changes depending on the outcome I'm looking for, so lets just say, I take people at face value, try not to judge and am willing to chat to anyone and see what happens.

Cooking, there's something blessedly cathartic about creating a gourmet meal for my inner circle and then sitting down and enjoying it with them.
Singing, music is part of who I am. If I don't have music playing it's cause I've got my inner soundtrack on full volume. I can be guaranteed to start singing along with just about anything... I don't even realise I'm doing it most of the time. I've sung live for audiences ranging from small intimate weddings up to concerts of 350+ people. I wish I could turn it into a full time gig, but the music industry is too fickle and can't see past the number on the tag of your jeans.
Reading, I read heaps. I've always got a book going. I read anything from fantasy to crime to personal development to texts about health and wellbeing. I love to learn and the written word is the best way to do this.

Music:
All of it. My music collection has examples of all genre. I like to think that I listen to the best of the best from all types of music. Beethoven to Britney to Rammstein and back again. Music is my soul.
Movies:
I don't spend much time in front of the screen be it tv or movies. But I don't mind the ocassional movie. I again will watch the best of most genre, the only thing I don't enjoy is horror. Enough of that in real life, who wants to watch it on the screen?
Books:
See my comment above, I'll read just about anything, as long as it's well done or informative.
