About me:
I am a man who was a Pro Photographer who made a very good living until 2005 and at that time I was treating myself for prostatitis with catherters about every month when I had a blockage. I ran out of catherters on night and decided to go and get one from a hospital that was very close to my apartment. I went the next day to get the catherter and I gave the people at the hospital my name and told them that I was having a problem and I needed this tube to relieve myself. The hospital told me that they would have to do the procedure and I said OK as I had done this before in other hospitals before even in Costa Rica. After the procedure they told me they were going to have to keep me in the hospital because they had put in a catherter that could not be taken out for a few days. I got upset because I had never been kept in the hospital before and I wanted to leave. They then put me into the psychotic ward and told me I would not be allowed to leave. I did not find out until one and a half years later why this had happened to me. There was a patient who had the same name as me and the hospital mistook me for him. He was psychotic and schizophrenic and they were looking for him and they decided I was the man they wanted and they put me into the psych ward. I had a dog at home that needed to be taken care of and I told the hospital I had to contact someone to take care of him. They told me I could not use the phone and to give them the name of several people who could take care of the dog and they would take care of finding someone. Well they got in touch with a woman who worked for me from time to time and she came to the hospital and got my keys and she told me to give her my wallet because she said she knew that some of the workers at that hospital stole peoples wallets and stole money from the patients. She also got my passwords because she needed to get cash to pay for the dogs food. I trusted her and told her my password. The doctors in the hospital gave me medicines that ended up causing me a condition called Tardive Dyskinesia. The woman with my keys and wallet in the meantime went to my apartment and brought her son and a trailer and cleaned out my apartment of everything I owned. She then stole every penny I had in the banks. She told the doctors that I had lost my place to live and they would have to release me to a nursing home when they found out I was the wrong man. They put me into a psychiatric nursing home and it was right after hurricane Katrina had hit Louisiana and there were no other nursing homes to take me in. I was kept in nursing homes for one and a half years and during that time they kept giving me the medicines that caused my problem and because the woman had stolen my assets and cameras I could not do business anymore. I am suing the hospital and the doctors for malpractice for half a million dollars which is the limit in Louisiana. I used to make that much in 3 years. Now I have to live with a man who takes most of my money for rent every month. I get Social Security Disability and it is not much. I am desperate to find a woman who would want to be with me and help me with my problems.
