Virtually everything there is, except most country and newer rap. Though admittedly some of it is good.
Movies:
Mostly comedy, action, some horror, my favorite types of movies are the ones with a good twist to it. Some examples are: Fight Club and The Usual Suspects.... Classics.
Books:
I find a lot of Stephen King and Dean Koontz's books are starting to meld together in my mind... they are still some of my favorite authors, but quickly pulling ahead is James Rollins. They tend to mix some form of science, religion or spiritualism, and lore. With intertwining story lines, he is able to jump from location to location with minimal loss of pace. I recommend looking some of his books up!
