During the middle 80s to around 2003 I would DJ in various clubs, pubs and private function rooms for different events, some your mainstream chart pop music, some were club, dance etc.
So I have been out there in the real world DJing.
I have had some banging sets and good times in the past but also I can remember one time about 6 people showed up, pretty shit lol.
It can be a bit like that in RLC when you DJ.
It such a good feeling when as a DJ you have a full club and people are woooooooting you and the tunes your spinning, but sometimes your audience is not so big, its more intimate and personal, I like that sometimes.
The point is for me, I am there as a DJ, to spin the tunes, to entertain the audience, no matter how large or small that audience is.
It seems that in RLC there is always competition to see what club can get the most people.
I wont be part of any so called DJ wars, I DJ for those who wish to listen to the music I spin, those that don't , will go somewhere else. That's RLC.
For me , I love to DJ, I love the music and yes a full club is always good but I am not in competition with anyone.
So a message to all fellow DJs and club owners : its not a competition, its about putting a smile on peoples faces,....... enjoy it :)

Trance music is a subgenre within dance/electronic music. It is characterized by beautiful melodies or long, repetitive hypnotic beats (hence the name trance).
Early trance was closely related to the techno and acid scenes. However, it soon began to be more melodic and vocal, using strings, pianos, etc., and relies on a build-tension-release formula. Trance music's roots lie primarily in techno, house, and EBM.
Particularly Female Vocal Trance, with a classical feel and an angelic vocal can be very emotional. It can give you feelings you never forget.
